We have some very good news!!! Wendi has the ventilator tube out and is awake! She is reacting and talking as much as she can. She knows where she is and what happened and has lots of family with her. She is smiling and has a sense of humor, so we are quite relieved and happy. One of her main concerns was all her preschool children. She wants to know if they are okay and she wants them to know she is doing well and loves them. She asked even asked for chap stick and a fan, which means she is definitely herself.

Thank you so much for your prayers and sacrifices in her behalf. We know the Lord has watched over her and many prayers have been answered. We will continue to update you on her condition.

  1. Richard, Wendi, & family,

I just wanted to let you know that our family has been thinking of you and praying for your speedy recovery. We were all so worried and scared for you. Spencer, Madison, and McCall have all been asking about you and how you are doing. McCall has especially been missing Wendi and can't wait to see her again.

I, too, know the power of the Priesthood and the healing power it provides, the comfort it gives, and the miracles it performs. I'm so very grateful that the Priesthood has blessed all of you through this time and that Heavenly Father has watched out for you all.

Thank you for being such great people and influencing and teaching my children in such a positive way. Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with you.

    Sincerely,
    Heidi Browning

    Comfort on difficult days,
    Smiles when sadness intrudes,
    Rainbows to follow the clouds,
    Laughter to kiss your lips,
    Sunsets to warm your heart,
    Gentle hugs when spirits sag,
    Friendships to brighten you being,
Beauty for your eyes to see,
    Confidence for when you doubt,
Faith so that you can believe,
    Courage to know yourself,
    Patience to accept the truth,
And love to complete your life.

  4. Miss Wendi, I am so glad that you are feeling better. I was so worried about you on Tuesday morning. I was very scared if you were ok. I knew that Heavenly Father would take care of you because we said a lot of prayers. I will bring my card to the hospital soon.

  9. We love your family and are so glad to hear the good news. Our children also send their love and concern for you. You have been in our thoughts and prayers since this happened. The tender mercies of the Lord definitely show through here. It could have easily happened on a day when there was no preschool but because it was a school day someone was there to find you. We are so glad that everyone is doing so well and we look forward to seeing all of you soon.

  12. third try hope to get it right today.
Wendi at least you have the tube out and a sore throat for a few days and each day it will feel better. See if you can have some icecream to sooth the throat. Miss seeing you drive by and wave or the kids waving. Going to be easier now. Let the kids know you are getting better by raising your voice a little at them. Kids know by moms voice. Richard looks, acts, and sounds like a lost puppy with out you. Let us know when you can have visitors. I our prayers
