We have finally received a solid report on Wendi. She is finished with her third (and most likely last) treatment in the mono tube hyperbaric chamber and seems to be doing much better. Specifically, her heart tests were run again and came back very close to normal, which is an amazing change since yesterday or even this morning. We were told that one of the tests done for her heart was to measure the amount of blood it was pumping. Normal is 50-60%. When she came in yesterday, her heart was pumping only 15%. She is, as mentioned earlier, back to near normal, which is incredible! Even the nurse and doctor we spoke to said her condition has changed like night to day.

We are still unaware of her cognitive status and will not know until she is roused from sedation, but that seems promising. They are working to ween her off the ventilator, testing the strength of her lungs to do the work on their own as they go. As we were told, they will be slowly waking her and she will be more aware of what is going on tomorrow. We will inform you as updates come.

Richard, Bergan and Bozton are still doing well and are moving about, waiting with us for Wendi's recovery.
