We have recently been able to speak with Wendi's nurse and got an update on her status. Due to an emergency with another patient, her last hyperbalic treatment was delayed and has just begun. The nurse informed us that her heart has done very well today and her blood pressure has been stable. We are looking forward to seeing how she reacts to her third treatment and will let you know later this evening any updates we are given. The doctors will most likely be weening her off the breathing tube and waking her up slowly tomorrow.

We appreciate all of the prayers and concern for Wendi and ourselves. We have felt a great amount of love and support from all of you.

  1. I've been so disheartened with this whole incident. I'm so grateful for the blog and the news and status we are able to get from this. It gives some peace of mind. We are praying constantly for you and will do anything you ask of us. Please let us know. We will continue to check on things. Meanwhile, Ella and Avery want Miss Wendy to know how much they love her and miss her. Halle says, "I miss her too!"
They pray every day for her and the family. So glad Richard and the kids are improving! Wendy is a light and amazing teacher to all our children! We love your good family. God bless.
